After losing five original drawings, Tom Hallet attempts, almost as a ritualistic act, to resurrect them by memory and photographic documentation. In LEMME, the first drawing of the series is shown amongst three meaty sculptures. Together they form a protective shield around its new body.

Text written by Tom Hallet

"A few days later, men found her body two miles further up north, dying on a sandy shore. This is when they could have a better look at her. The upper portion of the creature was about half the size of a well fed child, with one abnormally developed breast. The hair was long, dark and glossy, while the skin seemed to be carved out of alabaster stone, soft and tender. The lower part was like a salmon, but without scales. They witnessed how wild ferns hung low over her head, and rustled the first images of her death dream, while their glistering spores set on her cheeks. When she slowly opened her eyelids, her yellow eyes were already fixated on them..."
